Young Athlete Development
Helping young athletes maximise their long term potential, on and off the pitch
Young athlete mentorship
As young athletes navigates their way through adolescence, they are faced with a unique set of challenges (both physical and psychological AND often at different times to their team mates). All requiring a bespoke, measured approach.
Our mentorship programmes are designed to help them maximise their physical potential, whilst learning the values and tools to become the best version of themselves, on and off the sports field.
All mentorships are based on an athletes age (and current physical development) meaning the areas of focus will differ.
Skills we cover include;
Developing fundamental movement skills
How to strength train - in and out of the gym
How to integrate their physical training into their regular week
How to avoid overuse injuries associated with the growth spurt
Development of speed, agility and power
The values of preparation, nutrition, recovery and rest
Gaining confidence and trust in their body
Harnessing a positive and sustainable relationship with physical training
Building Skills, Confidence, and Lifelong Habits
Our programmes are not designed as a guaranteed pathway to elite sport (nobody can guarantee that!). They are crafted to allow our athletes to get the best out of themselves and flourish on and off the field.
Athlete mentorship
Our athlete mentorship - 1-to-1 coaching for young athletes who want to reach their full potential. Programmes are individually designed around their goals, their current ‘training-age’ and their schedule (not just their sport).
We help them develop the focus, resilience, and habits that not only improve performance but also make a lasting difference beyond their sport.
Coaching is delivered via our training app, but with consistent support and opportunities for in-person sessions where possible.
Young athletes in the gym
Youth gym programmes offer a solution for young gym-goers, allowing them to get the best from their training commitment, whilst giving parents the confidence their aspiring young athletes are training safely and effectively.
Designed for individuals or small group (13-18yrs) our remote programmes (via our training app) provide structured, age-appropriate and technical guidance, building a lasting foundation in strength, conditioning, and overall fitness.
Included;
The principles of effective and safe training
Exercises technique tutorials
A coach to guide their progress throughout - including start-up meeting
Monthly programme updates, meaning they will naturally progress
